I started by editing my wardrobe. This is always the most difficult. I had to be honest with myself and get rid of clothing (and accessories) I knew I'd never wear again. This freed up a lot of space in my otherwise tiny closet. I PROMISE my closet will never look like the "before" pictures again…I think.
A little travel, a little home decor, a lot of life lessons...and of course, my love for vintage.

Welcome to my closet… (After)
I had originally planned on cleaning out my closet the day after I posted the "before" pictures. After actually seeing them, I changed my mind and got to work IMMEDIATELY. It took me about two hours and I only used items I had lying around the house to do it (I was determined not to spend any extra money on this).

Top it off
I BEGGED my mom for this hat for nearly five years. She finally gave in and shipped it to me for Christmas. I think it will go nicely with my growing collection. Now, if I can just get her to send me a few more…

Navy flares
I've really been into hats lately. No, SERIOUSLY into them. Probably because of the single digit temps in Atlanta and having no hair. I've come to love them as only my mom (the "hat lady") would (as seen here, here, and here). I'm loving this monochromatic navy look…with just a pop of color.
Sweater: J. Crew (thrifted) (similar style here), Pants: The Limited (old, but similar here), Hat: Gifted from mom, Necklace: Old, from my collection (similar here as a watch), Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: Stella & Dot, Ring: Vintage, Club Monaco flagship store, Lips: MAC "Ruby Woo."
